Chaubey started his journey of politics in [[Sixteenth Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh|16th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh (2012) elections]], he got ticket by [[Bharatiya Janata Party]] from [[Khalilabad (Assembly constituency)]].
