==Career==

Judeo was most famous for his nationalistic work and service to [[Hindutva]] causes. He was responsible for organizing the popular and successful ''gharvapsi'' ("homecoming") campaign (often in return for monetary incentives<ref>{{cite web | year=2014| title=JRs 50 lakh to 'bring back home' converted Hindus | work=The Times of India| url=http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/43110371.cms?utm_source=contentofinterest&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=cppst | accessdate=2020-10-28}}</ref>) through which he encouraged and reintroduced thousands of Hindu tribals who had converted to Christianity.

In November 2003 he was accused of accepting a bribe for mining rights in [[Chhattisgarh]]. ==Death and Reaction==

On 15 August 2013, he died because of kidney and lung infection.

[[Rajnath Singh]] said "I am deeply saddened by the news of Shri Dilip Singh Judeo's sudden demise."
