The campus is located on the northern bank of the Yamuna river near [[Triveni Sangam|Sangam]] on the southern part of Allahabad city. Spread on a sprawling green campus of {{convert|42|acre|m2}}, the college opened its agricultural economics extension department on the other side of the river, which soon developed into [[Allahabad Agricultural Institute]], now [[Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences]] (SHUATS).<br />
