== Early life and education ==<br />
Faisal was born on 01 August 1985 in [[Palanpur]]. His father is a school teacher and his mother is a housewife. He did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering. His parents wanted him to be an engineer, but he was more keen on films. [[Jurassic Park]] made a huge impact on his mind upon its release and he decided to be a filmmaker.<br />

While pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Faisal has successfully cleared all the interviews held by [[Infosys]] during the campus placement. He was even offered an appointment later. But he choose to not to go at Infosys and decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking.<br />

Faisal made his debut film, Lakshman Gole in [[Hindi language]]. It was a biography of a real-life criminal [[Laxman Gole]] whose life took u-turn after reading [[Mahatma Gandhi]]'s autobiography [[The Story of My Experiments with Truth]].<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18YFrMwzfHA</ref><br />
