==Career==
Gaddam Prasad Kumar was elected to [[Vikarabad Assembly constituency|Vikrabad constituency]] in 2009 Assembly elections from [[Ranga Reddy district]] defeating A. Chandrashkhar of [[Telangana Rashtra Samithi]] party. In 2012 he was inducted into the Cabinet of [[Kiran Kumar Reddy ministry|N Kiran Kumar Reddy]] as Minister for Handlooms & Textiles, Spinning Mills & Small Scale Industries. After the State Bifurcation in 2014 he lost to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi candidate B. Sanjeev Rao in [[2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly election|2014]], and to Dr. M Anand in [[2018 Telangana Legislative Assembly election|2018 Telangana Assembly Elections]].
