Singh made his professional debut in 1997 during a test series against [[Russia men's national field hockey team|Russia]], Singh played at the [[Field hockey at the 2000 Summer Olympics|2000]] and the [[Field hockey at the 2004 Summer Olympics|2004 Summer Olympics]], where India finished in seventh place on both occasions. Since that last tournament, Singh is playing in the [[Netherlands]], for [[HC Klein Zwitserland]], alongside his fellow countryman [[Dilip Tirkey]].<br />
