== Early life and education ==
Rao is from [[Bhupalpally]], [[Jayashankar Bhupalpally district]]. His father Gandra Samma Rao is a farmer. == Career ==
Rao won from [[Bhupalpalle Assembly constituency]] representing [[Indian National Congress]] in the [[2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election]].
