== Early life and education ==
Shastri hails from an agricultural family in Phaphamau, Prayagraj district. She married Ramakrishna Shastri. == Career ==
Shastri won the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Soraon Assembly constituency representing Samajwadi Party.
