==History==
The Institution was established in 2010, in the memory of [[A. B. A. Ghani Khan Choudhury|A.B.A Ghani Khan Chowdhury]],under the mentorship of [[NIT Durgapur]], the foundation was done by Smt [[Sonia Gandhi]] and former [[List of prime ministers of India|Prime Minister of India]] [[Manmohan Singh|Dr.Manmohan Singh]] , the foundation stone was laid by
former [[Presidents of India|President of India]], [[Pranab Mukherjee]].

==Campus==
The college has 4 academic buildings, 1 administrative building, 2 hostels, 1 library and computing centre building,1 workshop building, staff quarters, and 1 canteen, with 101 acres of land, it has got both football and cricket ground. More constructions are going on. The construction department is guided by [[NIT Rourkela]], civil engineering department.

The institution offers 4 years [[Bachelor of Technology]] program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Food Technology department, besides 3 years [[Diploma]] are also available in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science and Food Technology. The academic department is governed by a board with representative from [[National Institute of Technology, Durgapur|NIT Durgapur]] and [[IIT Patna]].

===Admission===
The admissions to Bachelor of Technology program which is affiliated to [[Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology|MAKAUT]] is done through [[Joint Seat Allocation Authority|JOSAA]] counseling and [[JEE Main]]s result, while the diploma admission is done through the Institution's entrance Examination.
50% seats are reserved for the students of [[West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination|West Bengal]], 25% are reserved for [[Northeast India|North East India]] candidates and the remaining 25% for states other than West Bengal and [[Northeast State Community College|North East States.]]
