Believed to have been built in the tenth century, the massive structure consists of a ''[[pancharatha]]'' sanctum, ''[[antarala]]'' and ''mukha [[mandapa]]'', which rest on six pillars. The entrance is through a ''[[makara (Hindu mythology)|makara]]-[[torana]]''.
