It consists of sixteen songs. Its songs have inspired compositions and choreographic works in [[Odissi]] [[Indian classical dance|classical dance]].<br />

Two songs are written in traditional [[Sanskrit]] meters of Vasanta Tilaka and Pancha Chaamara. Two poems are in the style of [[Rabindra Sangeet]].
