==History==
On July 23, 2010, [[Maharashtra Legislative Assembly]] passed a unanimous resolution to constitute the Gondwana University, for the area comprising districts of [[Chandrapur]] and [[Gadchiroli]] . The resolution was moved by then Higher and Technical Education Minister [[Rajesh Tope]].
