==Production==
Director Elan (Elavarasan) had previously been signed on by [[C. V. Potluri]]'s sons Pearl and Param were given the responsibility of overseeing the film's production. [[Kreshna]] was signed to play the lead role, while [[Chandran]] was selected as the film's antagonist. Actress [[Nandini Rai]] was selected to her Tamil debut with the film after successfully completing an audition in Chennai.
