'''Gudipala''' is one of the mandals in [[Chittoor district]] of [[Andhra Pradesh]]. Gudipala is a suburb of Chittoor c wity. It is located near the Andhra-Tamil Nadu state border. Gudipala mandal headquarters is 20 km far from [[Vellore]] city and 12 km far from [[Chittoor]] city. In 2012 some gram panchayats of Gudipala Mandal were added to Chittoor Municipal Corporation (CHUDA).

==History==
Chittoor district was initially formed in 1911. At the time of Indian independence in 1947, Chittoor district was a part of the erstwhile Madras state. In the fifties Chittor district was a part of the newly formed Andhra Pradesh state and went through several changes. In 1985, the taluks of the district were reorganised. Both public and private transport are available.
