==Biography==&lt;br /&gt;
Haji Mohammed Allarakha Shivji was born on 13 December 1878 in [[Bombay]] to a [[Khoja]] [[Isma&amp;#039;ilism|Ismaili]] businessman. He was a native of [[Kutch]]. He studied Gujarati initially at home, and later studied up to the sixth grade at Fort Highschool in Bombay. After 1895, he studied [[Hindi]], English and [[Marathi language|Marathi]]. In order to bring magazine like &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[The Strand Magazine]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; in Gujarati, he founded &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Visami Sadi&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (The Twentieth Century), a pictorial periodical in 1914 and published it from 1916 to 1920.&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;Kendra2007&amp;quot;&amp;gt;{{cite book|author=Smt. It became popular but he never recovered any money from it. He was a connoisseur of art. Allarakha is best known for his periodical &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Visami Sadi&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. He wrote and translated several works under pen name, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Salim&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Mogal Rang Mahel&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Shish Mahel&amp;#039;&amp;#039; are his stories. &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Meharunnisa athwa Shahenshah Jahangir ane Noorjahan no Prem&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1904) is his play with [[Urdu]] [[shayari]]s. &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Rashida&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1908) is his novel.&amp;lt;ref name=gsp/&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
