== History ==
In 1907, United Kingdom-based [[Elementis|Harrisons & Crosfield]] established Malayalam Plantations Ltd. in [[South India]]. In 1983, 34% of Malayalam Plantations were sold to Indian nationals, leaving Harrisons with 40%.
