She won the silver medal at the [[2002 Asian Championships in Athletics|2002 Asian Championships]],<ref>[http://www.gbrathletics.com/ic/asc.htm Asian Championships] – GBR Athletics</ref> finished fourth at the [[2003 Asian Championships in Athletics|2003 Asian Championships]] and seventh at the [[Athletics at the 2006 Commonwealth Games|2006 Commonwealth Games]]. In addition she competed at the [[Athletics at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Women's discus throw|2004 Olympic Games]] and was ranked 13th in the qualifying rounds. Her personal coach is Parveer Singh.
