The convenor of HLM was [[Mohinder Singh Chaudhury]]. The front consisted of [[Communist Party of India (Marxist)]], the [[Janata Dal (Secular)]], the [[Lok Janshakti Party]], the [[Samajwadi Party]] and a few secular regional parties.<br />
