&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Hirpora&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (or &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Heerpora&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) is a village, near [[Shopian|Shopian town]] in the [[Shopian district]] in the Indian union territory of [[Jammu and Kashmir (union territory)|Jammu and Kashmir]]. It is the second largest village in the district, after [[Devepora]].{{citation needed|date=March 2021}} It is situated on the [[Mughal Road]],&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite web |url=http://shopian.nic.in/ |title=HISTORY |website=shopian.nic.in |publisher=[[Shopian district]]}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; {{cvt|12|km}} west of [[Shopian|Shopian town]], which is its district headquarters; and {{cvt|64|km}} from [[Srinagar]], the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, via the [[Srinagar]]-[[Pulwama]] Road. Most of Hirpora&amp;#039;s area is occupied by thick forests. According to a survey conducted by the [[2011 Census of India]], there are 1,446 householders in Hirpora village, comprising 8,540 individuals, of which 4,449 are males while 4,091 are females.
