==History==<br />
In 1953, 11 [[Telugu language|Telugu]] speaking districts of [[Madras State]] became [[Andhra State]] with [[Kurnool]] as its capital. In 1956, Andhra State and Telangana merged together to form [[Andhra Pradesh]].
