== Plot ==<br />
The scene opens with Lalita Rai Chaudhary ([[Mithu Mukherjee (actress) | Mithu Mukherjee]]) walking out of the college that refused her to let her take the final examination, since there were fees due for several months.<br />

Lalita goes back home to meet his bed-ridden father (Asitbaran) and we understand they were once a rich business family, now lost their fortune due to continuous litigation with a man called Saxena (the villain) and her father's ill health.<br />
<br />
Lalita searches desperately for a job everywhere, finally landing one at an office thanks to the receptionist who becomes her guide. This co-worker takes Lalita to a hotel where Krishna Karleskar "K.K." ([[Uttam Kumar]]) was employed as a singer. With the help of K.K., as he was called, Lalita exacts revenge on Saxena, and restores their home from his clutches.<br />
