==Career==&lt;br /&gt;
The ship was built by Mazagon Dock Ltd in [[Mumbai]] and has an indigenous content of 72%. After her mid-life upgrade in 2011, the ship has been fitted with new weapons and sensors, which include the Barak surface-to-air missile system, an Oto Melara 76&amp;amp;nbsp;mm gun, HUMSA sonar&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{Cite book|title=IHS Janes Fighting Ship 2016-17|last=Cmde  Saunders RN|first=Stephen|publisher=IHS Global Limited|year=2016|isbn=9780710631855|location=UK|pages=349}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; and Advanced Ship Control System for UAVs.
