Smt. Ila Pal Choudhury was born in a [[Brahma]] family in [[Kolkata]], [[British India]]. == Political career ==&lt;br /&gt;
After joining the party Smt. Pal Choudhury met &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Netaji&amp;#039;&amp;#039; [[Subhas Chandra Bose]] and worked with him. She gradually became the leader of women&amp;#039;s branch of the regional congress, [[Bengal]].
