This vision document was inspired by [[A. P. J. Abdul Kalam|APJ Abdul Kalam]]&amp;#039;s 1998 book &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[India 2020|India 2020: A Vision for the New Millennium]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, which Kalam co-authored with [[Y. S. Rajan]].
