Institute for Communicative and Cognitive Neurosciences was founded in 1998. ==Aim==

Institute for Communicative and Cognitive Neurosciences (ICCONS) is an autonomous [[Nonprofit organization|not-for-profit]] neuroscience specialty hospital & research institute located at [[Shoranur]], [[Palakkad district]]. A. Suresh is the director of both the institutes.<ref name="Kerala Kaumudi"/> The Kerala state Minister of Health is the Chairman of the Governing Council, the Minister of Social Justice is the Co-Chairman and the Secretary of the Department of Health is the Chairman of the Executive Committee.<ref name="Kerala Kaumudi"/>
