The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Blood pheasant&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ithaginis cruentus&amp;#039;&amp;#039;), also known as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Blood partridge&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, is the [[Monotypic taxon|only species]] in [[genus]] &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ithaginis&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; of the [[pheasant]] family. It is a small, short-[[tail]]ed [[pheasant]]. It fairly common in the eastern [[Himalayas]]. Its [[range (biology)|range]] is across the [[north]]ern parts of [[India]], [[Nepal]], [[Bhutan]] and [[People&amp;#039;s Republic of China|China]]. The total number of [[bird]]s is slowly [[Wikt:decreasing|decreasing]].
