Menezes joined Diageo in 1997 and has held various senior positions including: Chief Operating Officer; Chairman, Latin America & the Caribbean; Chairman, Asia Pacific; President and CEO, Diageo North America; and Chief Operating Officer, Diageo North America.<ref name=DR/>
