He is known from the inscriptions of his younger brother and his successor [[Jayavarman II (Paramara dynasty)|Jayavarman II]]. During his reign, Malwa faced invasions from the [[Seuna (Yadava) dynasty|Yadava]] king Krishna, the [[Delhi Sultanate|Delhi Sultan]] [[Ghiyas ud din Balban|Balban]], and the [[Vaghela dynasty|Vaghela]] prince Visala-deva. These raids significantly weakened the Paramara power.
