==Early life and education==
Jasbir Singh Gill was born on 8 November 1968 in [[Amritsar|Amritsar, Punjab]]. ==Early political career==
He was first elected as [[Sarpanch]] of Lidhar village of Punjab in 1982. ==Legislative assembly==
Jasbir Singh Gill contested his first assembly election from Beas constituency, Amritsar in 1997 but lost to Manmohan Singh Sathiala. Jasbir singh Gill won his first assembly election from Beas (renamed as [[Baba Bakala Assembly Constituency|Baba Bakala]] in 2012) in 2002.
