At one time Jhirkuni used to have more than 300 families in the village. Jhirkuni Gram sabha used to cover all the way from jhirkuni until Nigali Gaad while covering Taandi, Taak, Kabarkot, Ovani, Nadera, Bhatwad, Suri, Gaad.
