==Acting career==
While studying [[civil engineering]] at [[IIT Kharagpur]] Jitendra kumar started liking acting. Kumar starred in 'Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya intern' in 2013 which instantly went viral and crossed 3 million views. Since then, he has portrayed several characters in TVF videos which include 'Tech Conversations With Dad', 'A Day With' series, TVF Bachelor's series which crossed a million views, [[Kota Factory]] and many others.

He recently starred as the lead in the web-series ''[[Panchayat (web series)|Panchayat]]'' on [[Amazon Prime]]. He plays, Abhishek Tripathi, the urban young secretary of a [[Panchayat]] office in the rural town of Phulera, [[Uttar Pradesh]]. The series revolves around his daily struggles adapting to village life and his new work as he tries to get away from all this by attempting the [[Common Admission Test]] to the [[Indian Institutes of Management]]. The series, produced by [[The Viral Fever|TVF]], has been widely praised by viewers and critics alike.

He recently played the lead in Chaman Bahar. He plays Billu, a young small town paan-shop owner who falls in love with a pretty school girl who lives in a house opposite his shop. His shop becomes a hub of all the young boys of the locality to assemble there just to get a glimpse of the girl.
