[[Assam]] is the largest cultivator of this rice, it is primarily grown through [[paddy field]] farming. In Garo Hills it&amp;#039;s widely cultivated and it is known as Jaha rice or locally known as {{transl|as|mi Jaha}}.&lt;br /&gt;
