Jayapal''' (born 7 March 1955) is an Indian politician and was a member of the [[Fourteenth Assembly of Tamil Nadu|14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly]] from [[Nagapattinam (State Assembly Constituency)|Nagapattinam constituency]]. In February 2017, Jayapal switched his support from [[V. K. Sasikala]] to [[O. == Personal life ==
Jayapal was born on 7 March 1955 in [[Akkaraipet]], where he later served as the [[panchayat]] president for 1996–2001.
