The German scholar [[Lorenz Franz Kielhorn|F. Kielhorn]] suggested that the system began in September 248, the year that began with the month of [[Ashvin|Asvina]].&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{Cite book|last=Morgan|first=E.
