Rizvi has been actively involved in the field of education with the national organization MIT for the unity of Indian students and with international institutions like the American Federation of Muslims of Indian origin (AAFMI), which strives for the educational and economic improvement of Indian Muslims by seeking cooperation among American and Indian relief and educational organisations.<br />

He has been involved with India against corruption and worked tirelessly with [[Ramdev|Baba Ramdev]] on the issues of CW G scam, 2G scam and black money. He is also recognized as a prominent face representing the minorities of India in these areas. Since 2009 Rizvi has spoken extensively on the issues of black money stashed in foreign bank accounts, decriminalization of Indian politics, and maximum voting for maximum governance on various public platforms.<br />
