Kale Yadaiah started his political journey with the [[Indian National Congress|Congress Party]] and served as a chairman of PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Society) and he worked as MPP in Nawabpet Mandal, ZPTC Nawabpet Mandal and served as board member of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in 2010. After the bifurcation of the state in 2014, he contested from [[Chevella Assembly constituency|Chevella]] on Congress ticket and won by a narrow margin of 781 votes and was elected as an MLA.
