There is a Railway station situated here where local trains only stops. Frequently there are [[Kerala State Road Transport Corporation|KSRTC]] bus services from [[Palakkad]] to [[Coimbatore]] and local bus services from [[Palakkad]] to [[Walayar]] which are passing by Kanjikode.
