==Production==
The film is perhaps the first [[road movie]] in Malayalam.<ref name=B.Vijayakumar/> A real life incident that occurred at [[Cherthala]] in [[Alappuzha district]] of [[Kerala]] inspired the modus operandi used to arrest the thief in the film.
