Kapilakshi born and brought up in Jaipur in October 1996 and completed her graduation in Mass communication. After completing her graduation she moved to Hyderabad to pursue her career in the modeling industry and worked with several fashion designers as well as modeled for catalogue shoots. In 2019, she started giving auditions for films and got selected for a Tollywood film and made her debut in Murali Ramaswamy directed film ''Prema Pipasi''.
