&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Kesar Da Dhaba&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a vegetarian [[Punjabi dhaba]]&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;Outlook, Volume 46, Issues 13-25, 2006, p. 80&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; in [[Amritsar]], Punjab, India, that originated as a small restaurant selling dal and roti set up by Lala Kesar Mal, a [[Punjabi Hindu]] in Sheikhupura, near Lahore in 1916.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;Time Out India: Perfect Places to Stay, Eat and Explore, By Time Out, 2010, p. 276&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; It moved to Amritsar after the partition of India in 1947.
