Khalsa School is a secondary school located in Talwandi Sabo. The school is popularly known as "Khalsa School". Though the school has no religious affiliations to Sikhism, it promotes the various cultural activities that are often the hallmark of Sikhism. Such activities include the birthday celebration of Guru Nanak Dev every year and related processions in the city.

History
The educational syllabus of the school is based upon the syllabus prescribed by the state Punjab Board of Secondary Education and the medium of instruction is Punjabi. As with many other schools in the region, KHSS follows the concept of the 'third language', the first two being Punjabi (the medium of instruction) and Hindi (the national language of India).
