The region is situated off the [[Poonamallee High Road]] in the west. Adjacent areas of Kilpauk include [[Chetpet (Chennai)|Chetpet]], [[Kellys]], [[Egmore]], [[Ayanavaram]], [[Anna Nagar]], [[Choolaimedu]] and [[Purasawalkam]].<br />
