== Early life and education ==
Kumar is from [[Byndoor|Baindur]], Udupi district. His father is Gopalakrishna Kodgi. == Career ==
Kumar won from Kundapura Assembly constituency representing [[Bharatiya Janata Party]] in the 2023 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election.
