Kirit Solanki was born in village [[Kamboi]], [[Gujarat]]. He is a doctor by profession and holds [[Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery|MBBS]], [[Master of Surgery|MS]] and [[The International College of Surgeons|FICS]] degrees.<ref name="Member Profile"/> Before joining politics, he worked as a professor of surgery for almost 38 years.
