Kohir is bounded by [[Zahirabad]], [[Jharasangam]] and [[Munpalle]] mandals of Sangareddy district and [[Rangareddy district]]. It is 100 km from Hyderabad, 53 km from Bidar and 21 km from Zaheerabad.
