They refused conversion and became martyrs. The rest of the family members were rescued by [[Cochin Kingdom]] and were relocated in and around [[Thrissur]] in areas such as Palayoor, [[Kunnamkulam]], [[Pazhanji]], Velapaya, Avanoor, Koonamoochi, Parappur, Mattom, Kechery, etc.<br />
