Kondakarla Ava is located in Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh, in Kondakarla village, Atchutapuram Mandal. It is managed by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and Kondakarla Panchayat.<br />
The Sanctuary comprises a unique and endangered forest type and the wet evergreen forests.
