The village has many paddy fields, mango orchards, vegetable gardens, palm trees and tall coconut trees. The village is located 50&nbsp;km west of [[Tirunelveli]] town. Surrounding villages and hamlets include: [[Poovankurichi]], [[Kizha Ambur|Ambur]], and Thattan Patti.<br />
