Several temples in South India, including the famous [[Guruvayur Temple]] observes &amp;#039;&amp;#039;kuchela dinam&amp;#039;&amp;#039; in remembrance of  &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Kuchela&amp;#039;s&amp;#039;&amp;#039; willingness to part his food despite extreme poverty. Devotee&amp;#039;s offer specially prepared beaten rice in Krishna temples on Kuchela dinam.
