&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Kudipady&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;,&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; also called &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Pallataru-Kodipady&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; or Kidippady, is a village in &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Puttur taluk|Puttur Taluk]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; of &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Dakshina Kannada district|Dakshina Kannada]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; district, &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[India]].&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; It is 6&amp;amp;nbsp;km to the west of the larger town of Puttur and 4&amp;amp;nbsp;km south of the town of [[Kabaka Puttur|Kabaka.]]  [[Mangalore]], the regions chief port city, is a further 48&amp;amp;nbsp;km to the north-west. The local economy is primarily [[Agriculture|agricultural]], with most farms growing [[Areca nut]] [[cocoa bean|cocoa]], [[Black pepper|pepper]], [[coconut]], and [[banana]]s.&lt;br /&gt;

The majority of the population are [[Islam|Sunni-Muslim]] or [[Hinduism|Hindu]], with a smaller population of [[Roman Catholic Church|Catholics]]. The main languages spoken are [[Malayalam language|Malayalam]], [[Tulu language|Tulu]], [[Konkani language|Konkani]], [[Kannada language|Kannada]] and [[Beary language|Beary]].&lt;br /&gt;
